“Our sweet male lab was diagnosed with a form of aggressive and incurable cancer. I knew Beth could capture his spirit and so I sent her my favorite picture. We walk by it every day and it still amazes me how well she was able to let his amazing and goofy personality show through. Thank you, Beth!”

“I commissioned a portrait of my beloved dog Solo after he passed away. Beth not only captured his features exquisitely but also the loving soul that he was. when I look at my painting, I feel like he is still here with me, something I will cherish forever.”

About Me

My Background

image2

Hey there, I’m Beth. Welcome! I’m a small-town, Midwest girl born and raised in the heart of Missouri where everyone knows their neighbors and life moves at a slower pace. Growing up I was encouraged to explore my world in a hands-on learning environment and have always felt most at ease where the soil is rich and the summers are long. It’s in nature that I find many a muse for my work, and an unshakable peace that gives way to inspiration. There’s truly no place like it!

In 2008, I packed what I could into my tiny 2 door Acura and made the move to the bustling metropolis of College Station, Texas. I miss home and my immediate family, but I’ve made a number of wonderful friends here and love the life I’ve built.

While I’ve worked many jobs over the years, my heart always seems to lead me back to painting. In 2014, I began experimenting with watercolors. Within that medium, I discovered a whole new way to tap into my creativity. I paint just about anything, but have really found my niche in Custom Pet Portraits, which is probably why you’re here!

I’d love to connect with you about commissions—they really do make unique gifts and keepsakes of our precious pets. Thanks for stopping by!

My Medium

I first picked up watercolors about 6 years ago and never looked back! After exploring other mediums like oil and acrylic, I fell in love with the whimsical way translucent watercolor took on a life of its own!

My Inspiration

My greatest inspiration as an artist comes from the beauty in the world around me! From fresh flower blooms to my sweet cat "Myrtle" and her electric green eyes! My goal is to capture the character and emotion of this precious life in my pet portraits and other work!
